If attacked, who do we turn to for help?

IN THE aftermath of Zionist Israel and US Imperialism’s joint attack against the sovereign Islamic Republic of Iran last February 28, Iran made good on its declaration that if attacked, it would also attack all American military facilities being hosted by Arab countries.

It thus happened that from Abu Dhabi to Jordan, Syria, Oman, Qatar, and to as far away as Cyprus in Greece, US bases have been bombed by Iran with missiles and drones.

They happened just hours after the International Criminal Court (ICC) classified ‘War Criminal’ Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and Donald ‘The Dumb’ Trump of the United States gloated about the “success” of their initial murder spree that also resulted to the brutal massacre of Ayatollah (Supreme Leader) Ali Khamenei, his family, other top Iranian military officials in Teheran and even over 200 innocent school children and young women while attending schools.

This blatant commission of war crimes besides, the pathetic protests of Arab countries as to why Iran attacked them was answered by Iran simply and directly: the Arabs have allowed their territories to host US bases used in attacking them. Thus, their territories have become “fair game” for being America’s instruments in its aggression against Iran.

Indeed, it is laughable that Arab countries, like Israel and Uncle Sam, are now playing the ‘Victim Card’ by not mentioning the fact that their allowing the world’s most bellicose state and the region’s most brutal country to use their territories to attack their fellow Muslim neighbor would have no dire consequences.

Look at what happened to Ukraine after its Banderite leadership allowed it to be used in Western Imperialism’s aggression against Russia.

Alert to the power of Iran’s argument, Philippine officials are now scrambling to fool Filipinos into a false sense of security by insisting—repeatedly—that we have no “beef” with Iran and more importantly, that America’s 9 EDCA bases spread out in our territory are NOT US bases but, Philippine bases.

This blatant commission of war crimes besides, the pathetic protests of Arab countries as to why Iran attacked them was answered by Iran simply and directly: the Arabs have allowed their territories to host US bases used in attacking them. Article 5 of the 2014 EDCA (Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement) may be clear that, yes, Jose, “the Philippines shall retain ownership of and title to Agreed Locations” (EDCA sites) but was this not also the foolish defense of the Arabs, before and after they were bombed by Iran?

Iran’s attacks also destroyed the illusion that when push comes to shove, America would come to their defense, the same bogus “ironclad commitment” we have been hearing from them.

To the Arabs’ bitter shock, it now dawned on them that when it comes to the Middle East, only the interest and security of Israel matter to Washington; they are now urgently calling on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping to made representation with Iran on their behalf and save them from their decades of foolishness.

In our case, what would prevent China from using Iran’s argument should it decides to also attack the Philippines in case America and its Pacific minions decided to finally attack China?

Despite official denial that the EDCA bases would not be used for future American wars because we “own” them, they are what they are: platforms for US aggression and “fair game” to its enemies, nothing more, nothing less.

And where do we turn to for help then? To Russia whom we have double-crossed in a helicopter deal because Washington disapproved of it? To the Muslim world who sees the Philippines as an American stooge that has remained quiet while their brother Palestinians are being daily ‘genocided’ by Israel and America?

To the United States, Japan or Australia, or Europe, who, by that time would have been fighting for their own existential survival?

This is the problem in a government being run by American puppets, from top to bottom.

Ordinary Pinoys would be helpless and defenseless and left to fend for themselves like what the Arabs are doing now.

Finally, to claim that because we are not an “enemy” of Iran and their missiles are too far away anyway to hit us, we are “safe” from harm.

Such stupid assurance forgets the fact that Ayatollah Khamenei was the revered leader of over 300 million Shia Muslims all over the world.

And his martyrdom in the hands of America is enough motive to turn their sorrow into rage and then, revenge.

Did not the martyrdom of Jose Rizal fueled our ancestors’ determination to free us from Spanish colonialism thru armed struggle? Or the ‘Karbala Massacre’ in 680 AD to the rise of Shiism?

It would not take rocket science to figure out that any of the Ayatollah’s followers would want to wait for the “go signal” from Iran to exact vengeance against any American or US facility anywhere. They would do it on their own free will.

Have our national security officials taken this into consideration? Or are they in their usual dumb and dumber disposition of believing any crap coming from Uncle Sam or their own delusions?

Either way, when trouble comes, we are f*ck!
