ALERT Bureau of Customs (BOC) personnel at the Port of Clark said they seized 3.896 kilos of high-grade marijuana (‘Kush) from Thailand valued at P5.844 million and declared as ‘freeze-dried broccoli’ with its final destination at Legazpi City, Bicol region.

District Collector Jairus S. Reyes, in a report to Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, said the successful interdiction last March 26 was the result of their active collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Reyes, however, did not disclose the name of the sender or the final consignee or if any arrest has been made.

In another successful interdiction, Reyes on April 8 said the Port of Clark confiscated 1.098 kilos of Kush and 10 pieces of cannabis-infused disposable vapes worth P1.663 million from Arizona, United States, declared as ‘Tub Shower Faucet Set.’

He said the parcel’s destination is in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
