Another Pinay drug courier falls for bringing in cocaine

ANOTHER Filipina overseas worker who also arrived from Doha, Qatar, was immediately arrested for trying to bring in another shipment of cocaine last January 29.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) District Collector Atty. Yasmin Mapa, said the passenger was arrested after 8.197 kilos of cocaine worth ₱43.4 million was found hidden in her check-in luggage.

The incident follows the arrest last January 22 of another Filipina overseas worker who also arrived from Doha with over 8 kilos of cocaine also found hidden in her check-in luggage.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the connection between the two incidents.
