The PTFoMS, in turn, presented a certificate of appreciation to the company for its contribution to the quest for justice for Jumalon thru APO Production head manager, Milagros Santos. Aware of the significance of the incident and its impact on the state of press freedom in the country, APO Production readily agreed to print the materials free of charge.

Gutierrez said the most wanted flyers, totaling 70,000 pieces, would be shipped to the Misamis Occidental Police Office for distribution to the public to hasten identification of the suspects.

There remains a standing reward of P3.7 million for information leading to the suspects’ arrest. Jumalon was killed last November 5, 2023.
