BJMP, OPAPRU hold send-off ceremony for ex-Moro fighters

TEN former members of various armed Moro groups detained at the Bicutan jail facility for terrorism related cases (TRCs) were given a fresh start after their release last June 4, as part of the government’s amnesty program.

JCSupt. Clint Russel Tangeres, National Capital Region director, Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology (BJMP), officiated the ceremony along with former Armed Forces chief, Secretary Carlito Galvez of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU).

Also present during the event is JCInsp. Isnard Sempuego, in charge of the Metro Manila District Jail Annex 4 where the erstwhile enemies of the government are under detention.
