THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) announced the designation of JCSupt. Baby Noel P. Montalvo, as the new regional director for the National Capital Region (NCR), replacing JCSupt. Clint Russel A. Tangeres, who has been promoted as the Chief of the Directorial Staff, the fourth highest position in the bureau.

Montalvo, who previously served as the Officer-In-Charge of the Directorate for Operations, formally assumed his new post this Monday, June 16, and was “warmly welcomed by the BJMPRO-NCR Command Group, Division and Section Chiefs, and personnel in a heartfelt traditional ceremony held in his honor,” said the BJMP-NCR press statement.

“As he steps into this new chapter, JCSupt Montalvo brings with him a wealth of experience, dedication, and a strong vision for strengthening jail management and public safety in the NCR,” the statement added.
