Customs revamps nearly 200 frontline personnel

THE Department of Finance (DOF) has approved a major shakeup of the frontline personnel at the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and other offices that mainly affected those assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Port of Manila, Port of Iloilo, Port of Clark, Port of Davao, Port of Cagayan de Oro and the Office of the Commissioner (OCCOM).

The copies of the Customs Personnel Orders (CPOs) approved by DOF Secretary Frederick Go on the recommendation of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno showed that about 200 personnel were affected by the reshuffle.

For NAIA, those affected were covered by CPO B-022-2026 and CPO-B-023-2026, while those affected at the POM were covered by CPO-B-017-2026, CPO-B-019-2026 and CPO-B-020-2026

Those affected at the OCCOM were covered by CPO-B-016-2026 and, CPO-B-025-2026, with the latter also covering most of the reshuffle at the Port of Iloilo.

On the other hand, those affected by CPO-B-026-2026 and CPO-B-027-2026 mainly covers the Port of Clark and OCCOM

Personnel affected by the reshuffle at the Port of Cagayan de Oro were mainly covered by CPO-B-011 to CPO-B-013-2026.
