Port of Subic welcomes new district collector

THE Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Subic formally held a turnover ceremony last March 30, with outgoing District Collector Noel C. Estanislao turning over the helms of leadership to his replacement, District Collector Arnaldo M. Saulong.

Saulong currently serves as Director II of the Trade Information and Risk Analysis Office under the Post Clearance Audit Group (PCAG) headed by Assistant Commissioner Atty. Philip Vincent Maronilla.

Pinoy Exposé previously reported the changes at the Port of Subic with the removal of Estanislao by Finance Secretary Frederick Go, amidst the scandal of smuggling involving agricultural products under his watch.

Despite this, Estanislao, a former police general who is reportedly personally close to President Marcos Jr., has been promoted as the new acting director of the Enforcement Security Service (ESS/Customs Police) effective on April 7 (Pinoy Exposé, March 28, 2026).
