Shabu from Mexico lands at NAIA; “party drug” from Amsterdam seized at Clark

THE Port of NAIA under District Collector Atty. Yasmin O. Mapa announced it has foiled the entry into the country of more than 73 kilos of shabu from Mexico worth more than ₱496 million.

Mapa informed Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno that the illegal narcotic was found hidden inside a shipment of a “pelletizing machine.”

At the Port of Clark, District Collector Jairus Reyes also announced the interception of ‘Ketamine’ worth more than ₱20.7 million from Amsterdam hidden in a shipment declared as ‘Ceramic Fan.’

Reyes said the shipment was bound to an address in Valenzuela City and that investigation is still ongoing as of posting time.
