Arrogance of US Imperialism on full display in Germany meeting

ACCORDING to various reports from the Western corporate media, US Secretary Anthony Blinken, brazenly told China’s chief diplomat, Wang Yi, that its suspicion that China would soon provide “lethal aid” to Russia on the latter’s pre-emptive strike against Ukraine nearly a year ago to this month “could cause a serious problem for us and our relationship.”

Blinken made the warning on Saturday, February 18, 2023 (EU time) during the Munich Security Conference in Germany, claiming the US had information that China is now “seriously considering providing Russia with equipment including weapons,” according to the story filed by The Guardian.

But as Wang had pointed out, such arrogance by the US side, including its going bananas over a weather balloon that strayed into US air space last February 3, 2023 (a Reuters “fact check” confirmed the balloon was as American as apple pie), demonstrated US “weakness” and not strength.

That Blinken only embarrassed himself before America’s surrogate states in Europe after browbeating Wang was proved when he admitted that China never apologized for that ‘Hullaballoon’ brouhaha.

Biden is like the street corner bully intimidating and threatening a neighbor over some non-issue only to get the cold-shoulder treatment with the retort, “So what?” as the entire neighborhood it claims to “protect” watched in silence. Shame.

If the United States believe that the rest of the world are now easily intimidated by its warning of “serious consequences” and even the launching of an actual armed invasion on other territories and other acts of destabilization against sovereign states, this presumption is wrong. This no longer holds true.

If the lesson of history is to be the judged especially since the Korean War and onwards to Afghanistan 51 years later, a people or organization united in purpose cannot be defeated even by the most powerful military machine not seen since the days of the Mongols.

Or, as Chairman Mao, in 1964, aptly described US Imperialism and all the other reactionary states it represents, the whole lot of them, even with their atomic bombs, are nothing but “paper tigers.”

Indeed, during the Korean War, a backward and impoverished China fight the US to a military draw, a lesson that US Imperialism, due to its arrogance, never failed to draw until now.

By its continued growling and barking in the world stage in order to remain the ‘Global Hegemon,’ US Imperialism is only forcing the rest of the world to unite against it.

Its continued pratting and barefaced hypocrisy, while inviting fear, also invites hatred and contempt. And there is no greater demonstration of US hypocrisy than its warning on China not to give military support to Russia.

For as everyone knows that by now, the US has provided nearly $200 billion in lethal aid to its puppet state of Ukraine since the conflict there started a year ago this month.

So, what is the situation then? Is this not a clear imposition of US will against the rest of the world? That only Uncle Sam can dictate to the rest of us what we can, and we cannot do?

Where then, is the respect for its own “global rules-based order?” It would seem then that with America as the “global policeman” it has turned our entire planet into a prison! Would anyone else be “happy” living under such condition?

The US has faulted the former Soviet Union and even China of turning their countries into one huge ‘Gulag Archipelago’ but finds nothing wrong into making the entire world vassal states with no rights at all that must always bow to its caprice and whims.

Thanks to the Internet, people today are fast becoming educated on the true essence of America’s brand of “leadership.”

It is burdensome, discriminatory and at the end of the day, deadly.

And we have the likes of Anthony Blinken to constantly remind us of them.

Thank you!
